The establishment of the new office, which will accommodate the Engineering and Technological Center, marks another step forward for Boeing in the region and follows its decision in 2022 to relocate its distribution centre on Załęska Street in Rzeszów to a larger building at Panattoni Park Rzeszów Airport III. This move will allow the company to store more than twice as many components for the military and civil aviation sectors. Cushman & Wakefield advised Boeing on this transaction as well.
“Eastern Poland undeniably continues to see business growth, which is a particularly positive development in the current geopolitical situation. This region boasts an increasing level of professionalization in terms of comprehensive investor support, among other things. Cushman & Wakefield was also the first real estate advisory agency to build a presence in eastern Poland. And ever since we opened our office in Lublin in 2017, we have been consistently expanding our services to better assist investors in their search for prime business locations,” comments Michał Galimski, Head of Regional Markets, Cushman & Wakefield. Boeing, a leading global aerospace company, has leased close to 6,600 sqm in the SkyRes building in Rzeszów. This represents the largest transaction in terms of square meters on the Rzeszów office market to date. Boeing was advised during its search for the optimal location and lease negotiations by Cushman & Wakefield. “We were looking for a modern, central and attractive location to accommodate our local teams. With Cushman & Wakefield’s advice, we found the building that fits our need perfectly within a short timeframe”, said David Packer, Boeing Global Real Estate Manager. “I am very pleased that another global aviation industry leader decided to make such a significant investment in Rzeszów. It is extremely encouraging to see that our city is becoming increasingly attractive for international tech companies, not only in terms of the potential for modern production processes or advanced research and development but also in the context of specialized business services dedicated to innovative sectors of the global economy. I would like to thank Boeing for the trust it placed in our city and I guarantee that we will provide it with all the necessary assistance at every stage of its operations in Rzeszów,” says Konrad Fijołek, Mayor of Rzeszów. The 14-floor SkyRes building is the first large class A office building on the local market. It offers a prime location in the city centre and fast connections to the airport and motorway.
