A new company from the modern services sector will appear on the Poznań market soon. The B. Braun is one of the world-leading providers and manufacturers of solutions for the healthcare industry. The company has already gotten a factory in Nowy Tomyśl, while in Poznań it will run the European competence center responsible for the areas of finance, HR and IT.  

The team of the B. Braun Business Services entity will be responsible for the digital transformation of the B. Braun concern. Solutions developed in Poznan ensure company's operation in the long-term perspective. Every service provided by the B. Braun company combines the knowledge and the skills, deep understanding of the clients' needs and a vast experience gained since 1839. Due to the constantly growing portfolio of the effective solutions implemented in the field of the healthcare, the B. Braun contributes to the protection and the recovery of the people's health.

There are Aesculap Chifa with its headquarter in Nowy Tomyśl, the Foundation Academy Aesculap and the hospital Ortopedicum in Kraków, which operate within the business group in Poland. The company employs about 2000 people in Poland. The factory in Nowy Tomyśl produces cardiology kits and medical instruments of the world-class quality, which are used in all chirurgic branches.
Currently the B. Braun Business Services is taking final decision in terms of the placement of the Poznań office in order to offer its future employees the favorable place and conditions to the growth of the creativity, the enthusiasm and the teamwork spirit.   

The Nippon Seiki office in Gdańsk is also planning to expand. In order to meet the increased needs of the European market, the centre will create new positions in engineering as well as in administration. The Gdańsk team will play an increasingly important role in the development of future Nippon Seiki products that may also be manufactured in Poland, Ms Gronowska says. “We want to continue to add more enthusiastic and capable resources to our existing highly experienced team so that we may continue to support the rising customer demands for our exciting and stimulating products. The investment we are making in Poland is one important part of our plans across the globe.”
This vision hinges not only on the triad: talent pool - infrastructure - location but also on cultural proximity. “Japanese culture is actually very close to Polish culture,” concludes Ms Gronowska. “And we are, of course, cost competitive and have a stable economic and political situation.” These and other benefits are a magnet for international investors. Close relationship with Scandinavian companies, for which CEE is a nearshore destination, is just an example. This ecosystem is favourable to forming new, convenient international partnerships and strengthening the existing community.

Westinghouse Electric Company will establish a world-class global shared service center in Krakow. In the first phase, the center will employ approximately 150 highly skilled workers in a variety of functions to support Westinghouse’s global organization.

LKQ Europe is opening a new Innovation and Service Centre in Katowice in mid-2021. The new centre in Poland will act as a catalyst for the company’s innovation and digitalisation strategy. This centre will enable LKQ Europe to offer innovative digital products and solutions to its customers while strengthening cost competitiveness and process efficiencies. A LKQ digital team in Poland will soon start creating an innovative digital hub to develop European-wide solutions for a state-of-the-art customer experience. Moderna, Inc.
