​Prabal Datta, Head of Global Delivery Center Hungary, is the focus of our weekly Shared Services "Meet the Manager" series. Established more than 15 years ago, TCS Hungary was the company’s first Global Delivery Center outside of India, employing engineers, economists, IT experts and developers with multilingual capabilities. Mr. Datta tells us about the newest developments of TCS in Hungary and the region.

​Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) is well-established as a world-class destination for Shared Services centres and BPO investment. With Poland the strongest location in the region, other countries such as the Baltics, Czech Republic and Romania are important investment destinations. Global outsourcing firms, business services projects and sector professionals will be presented with awards of acknowledgment - by an independent jury of 30 top execs from the industry. This year we expect 300+ guests - of which more than 50 from international firms interested in setting up or expanding their business services centres in central Europe. The awards gala will be preceded by a half-day of discussion panels with 14 top speakers; and 2 site visits at MoneyGram and KMD.
