"Insiders' Insights for
Operating your BSC during CV crisis-time"
29 April
(select Site Directors at Business Services centres providing updates on how they are navigating the current environment)
The topic is “Best practices for operating SSCs during CV crisis-time”. The goal is to encourage sharing of ideas and learnings during these extraordinary times. And share short-term tactics for the next 3 months.
While most of us can not meet each other, we have heads full of ideas and we want to replicate the confidential, small-talk exchange that is so valuable at small focused events. As moderator, Thom Barnhardt will “kick-off” the discussion by asking Speakers to tell us what steps you have already implemented in the last few weeks; then, the topics of discussion will be productive, results-oriented and actionable. The goal is to share ideas and learnings - and short-term tactics in the coming few weeks - during these extraordinary times. We've titled it: “Insiders' insights for operating SSCs during CV crisis-time”.

Topics of discussion include:
* Communication (new "norms" of how Site Directors are maintaining critically-important communcation channels to motivate and re-assure their teams)
* Cybersecurity issues are taking centre-stage.
* Working-capital channels and optimization.
* State-aid and subsidies.
* Staffing/Employment Levels: Hiring and salary freezes. Online Everything.
* HQs urgent calls for Cost Savings
* Real-estate/Offices costs: under rigorous scrutiny in next stage.
* “Opportunities” in the carnage (i.e., taking on more services from higher-cost locations)
* After the "Lock-down": how BSCs will make even faster transitions to full Agile working.
The number of Speakers is limited to only 8 per teleconference. (We believe that more would make it unmanageable and less-productive.) And a strict time control of 55 minutes: We will start at 9:15am and finish by 10:15am.)
Rules of the teleconference:
a) Strict time control. We'll be “on” at 9:15am and finished by 10:15am.
b) Platform: Organizer will send participants a ZOOM video invitation to join.
c) White Paper Summary: After this “Best Practices Roundtable Teleconference”, we will summarize key conclusions and we will send this summary ONLY to participants – and within 24 hours.
Additional Benefit: We are doing these Teleconferences every 2 weeks, and all those who join one discussion will also receive the subsequent WhitePapers from all discussions.
If you would like to join one of our BSC Roundtables, please register below (49 euro with payment via credit card).
