Following the establishment of its Hungarian subsidiary in 2021, Tulip Interfaces is expanding its Budapest hub with a new R&D project. The American manufacturing technology company’s local team will grow by 26 engineers as a result of the investment, whose task will be to support the development of the company’s ‘no-code’ platform. With this R&D project, valued at EUR 5.8 million, the company further strengthens its position in the European tech market.
Tulip Interfaces was founded in 2014 by a group of engineers from the MIT Media Lab. The Tulip platform is based on more than a decade of research into frontline operations and is led by world-class experts. The company’s solutions support customers in implementing the necessary steps for Industry 4.0 and digital transformation. In addition to its headquarters in the United States, Tulip also has offices in Germany and Hungary, and its services are used in 47 countries worldwide. Tulip is a cloud-based platform where customers can build their own applications without writing code or having any programming knowledge. These applications connect people to the machines, tools, and systems they need to use in their work. The applications are fully customizable to meet user needs. Tulip’s app library also offers templates and best practices to support application development, which can be freely integrated or modified even after deployment if workflows change. The company established its Hungarian subsidiary in 2021 in Budapest. The software development center currently employs 50 people. Thanks to the latest R&D project, the company’s local operations will be expanded by 26 engineers whose task will be to support the development of the ‘no-code’ platform. Comments are closed.
