Cisco Krakow in expansion drive to support global transformation

Krakow-based Cisco already employs 2,000 specialists and wants to employ another 150 soon. The head of the branch, Ramon Tacinco, who came to Krakow a decade ago to start forming the branch from scratch, believes that a new Silicon Valley is being created in the capital of Małopolska. This is evidenced by the attraction of Krakow: in Cisco itself, increasingly technologically sophisticated and innovative works are performed by people from all continents, from over 70 countries around the world.

"Three areas are of strategic importance for our branch in Krakow: software development, Customer Experience (analysis of customer experience with specific products, e.g. mobile applications) and online security. They are also priority areas for the entire Cisco. Our goal is to further develop in the direction in which the entire organization is transforming", said Ramon Tancinco, Director of Cisco Global Services Center in Krakow.

He adds that by expanding the branch with new functions, the company plans to hire more specialists - in the field of engineering and business, which undoubtedly contributes to the development of the Polish knowledge-based economy. "We are determined to maintain the dynamic character and inclusive organizational culture of our Krakow branch as we develop, because these are the features that our success is based on. Thanks to this, for three years in a row we were ranked first in the Great Place to Work ranking in Poland. What is particularly important to us, we owe this title, the best employer, to the opinions of the employees themselves", emphasizes Ramon Tacinco.
